Frisé

From the Latin "crispare (crispus, frise)" to curl. Pile fabric (usually mohair) of uncut loops. Designs may be produced by contrast of cut and uncut loops, by different colored yarns or by printing the surface. Friezette* is a trade name.    Use: upholstery.    Weave—pile.   Width, 27", 28".
