Crepe georgette is a thin, matte silk or silk-like fabric that drapes well and is very elastic. It is sheer and flat with a grainy texture and is sometimes referred to as chiffon. Its fluidity and easy draping makes it ideal for women's clothing. It is used to make evening wear, gowns, blouses, dresses and skirts.

Moroccan crepe, also known as crepe marocain, is a heavy textured, woven, ribbed crepe fabric made of silk, rayon or wool. It is made using heavily twisted yarns in the weft, resulting in the characteristic wavy, ribbed texture. It is used to make dresses and suits.

Canton crêpe
A soft, silk or rayon fabric with a finely crinkled texture, similar to but heavier than crêpe de Chine.
Mousseline
Mouseline de Soie (pr. moo-sa-leen-de-swa). Means silk muslin. Firmer than chiffon. Stiffer than silk voile. Not much used in recent years. Now largely replaced by organdie. White and colors. Weave—plain.

Voile
Voile originates from the French for veil. As its name suggests, it is a cool, almost transparent,lightweight fabric, suitable for plain coloured summer shirts.
It is obtained by using extremely fine and twisted threads that are woven using the plain weave technique.

Radium
Fine, soft, closely woven fabric similar to good habutas but having greater lustre; washable. Usually free from weighting. Pussy Willow* a trade name. Uses: waists, dresses, linings, negligees. Weave—plain. Width, 40".
